Cold Isostatic Press - Dry bag pressing / Wet bag pressing |
| |
| |
| Cold Isostatic Pressing process is divided into two types, dry bag pressing for mass production and wet bag pressing for flexible manufacturing system.
| |
| Wet Bag Press |
| Web bag pressing is a method putting molded objects(casting molding, injection molding, forming molding) into a rubber bag and exert pressure by liquids. It's appropriate for large products or flexible manufacturing system and has the advantage of molding many products at the same time. Because it's a batch system, it's not suitable for mass production. |

| Dry Bag Press |
| Dry bag pressing features an in-line process that utilizes automatic cycling, powder filling, pressurization, decompression and compact removal, all of which takes place in a continuous operation. Production rates are high and the equipment is fully automated. Dry bag pressing is mainly used in mass production. |
